The Baker’s Yard is an ecomuseum where you can experience tradition with all your senses. You can choose one of two sightseeing programs:

STANDARD program

Duration of tour – up to 2 hours. The package includes:

  • Visiting a Polish country house from the first half of the 20th century. Getting to know the history of the place, demonstration of the operation of old equipment.
  • Visiting a small village bakery reconstructed in the museum. Getting to know the baking tradition of „Wygnanowski” rye bread, spelled bread and onion roll „cebularz lubelski” – the first product of Lublin voivodship area labeled with Protected Geographical Indication.
  • Refreshments – tea, coffee, in the summer also chilled peppermint drink or lemonade along with a tasting of bread, Lublin „cebularz lubelski” rolls and homemade cookies.
  • Possibility of rest in the area of museum (use of benches in the yard or common rooms in a country house – depending on the weather)
  • Assistance of the host of the place and / or other carers throughout the tour

Package price

– normal ticket – 80 PLN
– reduced ticket – PLN 50 (children and adolescents up to 18 years of age, based on any identity card confirming the child’s age) *
– family ticket – 200 PLN (up to 4 adults or two adults and max. 3 children)
– group ticket – 45 PLN / person (groups over 8 people, regardless of age)
– ticket for school and pre-school groups – from 35 PLN / person (the rate is set individually depending on the age and size of the group, guardians are free)

* – child up to 3 years old – free admission on the basis of a parent/carer ticket (on the basis 1 child per 1 parent / guardian)

Extended program

Duration of tour – up to 5 hours. The package includes:

  • Visiting a country house from the first half of the 20th century. Getting to know the history of the place, demonstration of the operation of old equipment.
  • Visiting a small village bakery reconstructed in the museum. Getting to know the baking tradition of „Wygnanowski” rye bread, spelled bread and onion onion from Lublin.
  • Baking demonstration, the opportunity to participate in the production of Lublin „cebularz lubelski” rolls and flatbreads baked on a firework plates
  • Refreshments – tea, coffee, in the summer also chilled peppermint or lemonade, flatbreads, bread, country lard and cottage cheese, traditional sausages, and for dessert butter croissants with honey and jam and „Homemade” machine cookies
  • Possibility of rest in the museum (use of benches in the yard or common rooms in a country house – depending on the weather)
  • Assistance of the host of the place and / or other carers throughout the tour

Package price

– normal ticket – 140 PLN
– reduced ticket – 80 PLN (children and adolescents up to 18 years of age, based on any identity card confirming the child’s age) *
– family ticket 300 PLN (up to 4 adults or two adults and max. 3 children)
– group ticket – 80 PLN / person (groups from 9 people, regardless of age)
– ticket for school and kindergarten groups – from 50 PLN / person (the rate is set individually depending on the age and size of the group, guardians are free)

* – child up to 3 years old – free admission on the basis of a parent / guardian ticket (on the basis of 1 parent / guardian – 1 child)
